I used think that, but having read the spec, I’m all for the Kindle. Hefty price tag, yes, and there are quite a few people with gripes about it (for one thing, although you have instant access to the internet, you have to pay for content which would ordinarily be free, like blogs)…but I think I’d still like one. It’s like an iPod for books. Plus, I’d be the hippest book nerd ever:-)

As I said to someone last week, the old adage is “curl up with a good book”, not “curl up with a handheld electronic device”. Call me old-fashioned but I’d rather dusty-spined hardbacks and dog-eared paperbacks. And the price tag is pretty hefty too, no?
