The Kiosk’s YouTube of the Week — I’ll Wait for the Next One

As suggested by Tim, a regular texter to the show, here’s a very clever, four minute short film about a man who arrives on the underground and declares to his fellow travelers that he is tired of being single. Will any lady take a chance and be with him?

  1. I think it’s shocking that she could allow herself this self- indulgence – recklessly failing to allow that he may just be doing a sketch.

Luckily the impressive young man seems to be French so he knows not to let her toy with his emotions – less still to get off the train. On a Luas the danger is that it is she who would attract the sympathy (and the man), with her self-loathing smiliness and ultimately quivering lip deemed to outweigh her overweaning lack of moral oomph and her contemptible frumpiness.

From the diagonal lines that drop down from her lips and the middle of her nose, it is clear that this is not the first time this sort of thing has happened to this young lady. She should change her face pack, quit pilates and turn off Sex and the City. And leave guys like poor Antoine alone.
