Coming up this week on The Kiosk, brilliant arts specialist Sinead Gleeson will be in studio to discuss the latest cultural news, including the Golden Globes and the Choice Music Prize. Author Fay Weldon will be talking about her new book, just out in paperback, What Makes Women Happy (HarperCollins). We’ll also be hearing from two single men who — fair play to them — have accepted the challenge of reviewing/enacting pick-up artist Neil Strauss’s dating book The Rules of the Game for us. And Sinead Gleeson and Ollie Cole, formerly of Turn, will be reviewing the new memoir, Things the Grandchildren Should Know, from Mark Oliver Everett, frontman of Eels. And there’ll be plenty of tunes too! Tune in to Phantom 105.2 (www.phantom.ie) at 11am on Saturday (or Sundays at 8am for the repeat).
